Written and directed by Şirin Aktemur, this unique musical transports the audience to the past the moment they step into the venue, reviving the spirit of Arabesk music and the values of that era.
“Afara” tells stories of friendships, secret loves, hopes amidst hardship, and the days when we clung tenaciously to life. It offers a heartfelt tribute to Arabesk music, the *gazino* (supper club) culture, and a bygone era that has now become “afara”—the remnants left behind after the harvest.
While performing dozens of Arabesk songs accompanied by a powerful orchestra, Uğur Aslan takes the audience on a captivating journey filled with surprises, showcasing both his acting and musical talents.
